VIRTUAL TEAM BUILDING
Online Games for Virtual Team Building Fun!
Bring Your Team Together with Collaboration, Communication and Friendly Competition
The Jewel Palace Series, our virtual team building game series, is a collection of digital puzzle games developed specifically to bring joy and connection to remote teams. Any size group can play by dividing into teams of 3-4 players that compete against each other for a spot on the reservation’s private leaderboard. Teams connect via video conference and use their browsers to explore mysterious virtual palaces, working together to solve a variety of fun, challenging puzzles.
Expect High Quality Online Games and Interactions to Engage Your Team
Palace Games is an award winning escape room company based in San Francisco. Our number one priority is bringing people together through fun and friendly competition. Our newest virtual team building games do just that with the same rigor and dedication that the Palace Games team brought to our renowned in-person escape rooms.
Our top-knotch games are deliberately developed to keep all members of a team engaged. We understand that every player brings a unique set of skills and strengths, and we want to provide each with a chance to shine. Accordingly, all the puzzles and challenges are carefully considered and planned to keep all players involved.

TEAMWORK: Team Bonding Through Problem Solving
Our virtual games require real teamwork. In fact, some puzzles cannot be solved alone! In order to succeed in the game, players must work together and communicate effectively.
Players will work on important skills such as problem solving, communication, delegation, creative thinking, and detail orientation. Not only will players build on these skills but they will also have a chance to deepen their bonds with colleagues in a time when there is a dire need for social interactions.
Why Is Virtual Team Building So Important?
Since work from home (WFH) became the norm in March 2020, workplaces need to contend with the negative effects of a dispersed workforce. Research has shown a negative impact in the mental health of remote workers, including a lack of motivation and satisfaction, decreased productivity, and feelings of isolation and loneliness.
As team cohesion suffers, employees have a greater need for good social interactions to keep them engaged with their colleagues and the goals/values of an organization. Enter virtual team building - a way to keep your dispersed team connected while providing a fun and productive break from the everyday.
Increase Employee Engagement Through Friendly Competition
Employees delight in the friendly competition generated by our virtual team building games. As a large group divides into small teams to play, each team is motivated to work together to find success and earn the top spot on your reservation’s private leaderboard. Not only will your group enjoy the fun competition, but with Shared Leaderboards you can challenge other groups or departments at your organization, sparking social engagement across the board as workers challenge each other and share their experience.
Why Palace Games Team Building Games Are Right for You
In addition to an obsession with developing stellar games that focus on team building, we spend a lot of time thinking about how to make the setup process easy for the organizer. A standalone feature of our virtual games is our Game Administrator Portal (GAP) which makes setting up even the largest teams a breeze.
Though we provide a great tool to give you the flexibility to set up your event on your own (and to your liking), you don’t have to go it alone! We are always happy to offer support with our brilliant customer success team, the GEMs.
First Class Customer Support by the GEMs, the Palace Concierge Team
At Palace Games, we are dedicated to providing our players with a 5 star experience from beginning to end. We don’t only care about providing you with a great game, but we also care about making sure you get timely assistance and answers to your questions before, during and after your event!
We genuinely want you to have a great and memorable event, so The Palace Concierge Team, aka The GEMs, is available to ensure your success. As Great Experience Magicians (or is it Guest Excitement Ministers?), our team is dedicated to providing you with all the support you need.
A Virtual Team Building Solution Fit for Large Groups
Large groups rejoice! The Jewel Palace games can accommodate groups of ANY SIZE. In fact, there is no limit to the number of players you can sign up on a single reservation! Our Game Administrator Portal was created with large groups in mind, so you can rest assured that our virtual games and system are set up to ensure ease of use for the group organizer.
Flexibility for Your Virtual Event
With global teams and remote work, it can be hard enough to schedule a play time that works for your employees. As our online games are self led, teams can schedule the game at their convenience, no matter the time zone! There is no need to coordinate with our schedule for your virtual event unless you are interested in a live hosted game.
We understand that every group has unique needs. Some groups want to have a standalone team building event at a set date and time. Other groups may want to offer a fun virtual activity for their employees to enjoy at their leisure. Our system allows organizers to set up their virtual event however it works best for their group’s needs.
Organizers could set up their team building activity in a couple of different ways:
1. Teams play at the same time
Organizers can schedule all teams to play at once. This is a great option if you have set aside a specific date and time for a team building activity.
2. Teams play at different times
We have seen a lot of success with this model. If it is hard to find a time for everyone to play, allow each team to schedule their game at a time that is convenient within a set time frame (ex. 2 weeks or 1 month).
